Privacy Policy
Tarps4Trucks respects your privacy. This page explains what we collect and how we use it.
WHAT WE COLLECT
- If you create an account to add your business to the Trucker Map, we store your name, email address and the business details you enter.
- If you submit a photo to Epic Fails, we store the photo, the name you provide, and — only if you choose to give it — an email address so we can reach you.
- For features like "like" and our spam-protected forms, we store a scrambled (hashed) version of your internet address for a short time to prevent abuse.
HOW WE USE IT
- To show your business on the map (only if you asked us to), to review and display approved Epic Fails photos, and to keep the site safe from spam and abuse.
- We never sell your information, and your email address is never shown publicly.
HOW LONG WE KEEP IT
- Scrambled internet addresses used for spam protection are deleted after 30 days.
- You can remove your own map pin at any time from My Account, and you can ask us to delete your account and information.
COOKIES
- We use small cookies only to keep you signed in and to make features like "one like per device" work. We do not use advertising trackers.
CONTACT
- To ask a question or request deletion of your information, email info@tarps4trucks.com.
We may update this policy from time to time; the latest version always appears on this page.
